i think if the injury results in some sort of a physical disability then yes you could get an exemption. Although there's also social stigma surrounding getting a "medical exemption" if you don't appear visibly disabled because people are fucked up.

Correct me if I'm wrong.... But aren't you exempted from mandatory military service if you've received some serious injury? I mean mincheol got injured right? So shouldn't he be exempted?
