Even while reading the rest I could not stop thinking about what happened in Chapter 1. Fenrir kept having omegas in heat sent to him, and eventually got one pregnant. I felt so bad when it was mentioned Eleanor just kept forgiving him because it was instinct or the one he truly love was Eleanor and not those omegas. I know you can argue Fenrir was being coerced, it’s not like it didn’t also slip my mind but I just couldn’t stop thinking about how incompetent he was in that life.
Was he not a duke or something? Please correct me if im wrong. He had the status and resources maybe some power what about the grandfather? Idk abt fenrir here but in usual historical manwha tropes the heir usually does their best to gain enough power to stand against family patriarch yet the narrative just treated the whole situation as something he kept letting happen. If he genuinely couldn’t prevent it I hoped they atleast provided why. Now even after reading the next chapters, I can’t stop thinking what ifs like that he should have atleast tried to use his position or resisted more actively or find a way to get away from the situation heck I’ve seen Alphas in Alpha x Beta stories hurting themselves just to stay sane. I’m sorry but he’s just an incompetent bum to me. Maybe I’m nitpicking but Fenrir, or maybe chapter 1, the author or whatever has completely ruined this for me. Still, I’m glad Eleanor got his happy ending. I just wished Fenrir wasn’t part of it all. Even if Eleanor had remained a beta or became an omega he doesn’t deserve him not in the first or second life. Maybe in the next season we’ll get answers and Fenrir’s POV but until then whatever
