I read the comments before reading so I thought MC was gonna act like a child but tbh the MC seems normal he's literally 20 fresh out of highschool. In my opinion it's not Innocence he's just naive and doesn't think his hyung likes him back. But I do agree this manwha gives grooming especially since ML knows that MC likes him and doesn't suspect that ML potentially likes him too . Putting MC in situations that could be suggestive , MC becomes flustered and ML lives for it because he knows MC doesn't suspect him
