I like how the author basically mixed up a bunch of mythologies and literature together, the most obvious inspirations being the pomegranate from the Persephone mythos, the nine circles and kings based on "Inferno" by Dante Alighieri and also the influence of the Orpheus and Eurydice myth, this manga is truly the crossover of the century.
Also I am so glad ms. Majo is alive, she was way too fine to not be a part of the story anymore.
