I'm actually intrigued for the way the manhwa is approaching her life, it reminds you that it's an historical manhwa and showcases the struggles that comes as young kids in powerful clans, I feel bad for yeon and Riri, their marriages are being handled like fan merchandise, they can't oppose resistance, everything is being decided while too young, it truly shows where the adults have failed...instead of focusing on the evil people plotting inside the clan, they hope they can strengthen their position through marriage, we’re rooting for you yeon!!
The best match for yeon are jegal and the dirty blonde haired guy, the first one because his mind goes way beyond his years and has prior knowledge from past clan heads, which puts him in a similar situation and mental state to yeon, they also shared many secrets and are the only ones aware of the dangers hiding in the sects. The second one knew yeon when she was young, he’s also more mature and level head, very smart and even if he doesn’t like staying around people he has good social manners, he also shares secrets with yeon and has a light understanding of the bad people in the sect. Yayul has a good backstory but he’s too impulsive and emotionally stunted when it comes to his attachment to yeon, but he has that explosive factor. Ryu has the main lead factor, but he’s too tsundere, and he doesn’t share that knowledge around the main villains that yeon shared with the other leads, he also lacks romantic interactions as majority is just him getting jeauloys, irritated or secretly blushing. I feel like the author tried to do a light childhood rivals to lovers, but ironically yeon’s logical character wills find a good balance with occasional soft moments with a light witty humour just like in the scenes with jagal
