I don't remember the Duke saying something like that. But if you know the chapter, I can give it a reread. Though, I wouldn't say he's a green jungle too.
I think he's just saying that it's easier for society to accept their relationship as a man and woman rather than a man and a man. He did mention that it doesn't matter to him if the curse breaker is a man or a woman, as long as the curse fully breaks.
He's more likely blinded by the thought of fully breaking the curse (after searching for a way for so long and it's now in his grasp), hence he thought that a woman might be easier to make them fall in love with him (to fully break the curse) instead of a man who appears to have no sense of love and infatuation towards the duke.
Adrina did look like she found new hope in living after the Duke mentioned that Adrina should have lived instead of Adrian because it was the first time that someone wished for her to live instead of her twin (even though the intention wasn't all that great). After all this, the Duke does seem to treasure Adi as is, still not knowing she was Adrina all along.
I'd say, call it misogynistic that he said it's easier to seduce a woman rather than a man. Still, societal expectations are, in a sense, misogynistic especially in olden times.
If you'd like, give it another read, it's only the first season until ch 41 (I assumed bc last update of non-officials were in june).

Dropped this some time ago but i decided to visit and see if story reached final chapter, guess not. I saw a comment said top is green jungle? How is he green? Can someone explain why he is green flag when the reason i dropped this because top or male lead said if mc’s sister is alive he would force himself on her because its her role as a woman in a society? Knowing from reader perspective that mc is the very ‘woman’ he is talking about and that disgust me. Asking generally
