The recent chapter follows when they are already on the riverside for barbecue Taku climbs a tall dogwood tree to retrieve Asahi's blown-away hat, only to get stuck and panic before being helped down by chiaki. In the process Chiaki gently places one of the white tree blossoms in Taku's hair, sparking a quiet, intimate moment between them while chiaki recalling past memories with his girlfriend ( her face is never show only the back of her haircut who resembles yuu's).
