But if you were REALLY woke, you would know that ABO is a literary form used to explore and imagine a world where misogyny isnt just directed towards women, but from another biological trait.
ABO questions gender norms and challenges our understanding of "normal sexuality" because it flips the script and puts all the bigotry away from a social concept that we know (womanhood and queerness), to something different (omegahood).
But on another hand, if you were decently woke you'd still hate that... Misogyny doesn't become acceptable when inflicted onto another group especially because abo is such an egregious reflection of misogyny in it's truest rawest form. It's intriguing but not something youd particularly like, just something to be perplexed by.
Omega's and women are treated the exact same way, it doesn't flip the script so much as it changes the victim to men. It can be a coping mechanism but it can also be a very vicious way of women to inflict their own internalised misogyny onto a group the reader will feel no empathy for (males), and so you can create the perfect Adeline to be haunted without being crushed by the daunting reality that almost every woman is/was an Adeline to be haunted due to misogyny and it isn't as sexy as it seems.
Sorry I'm rambling lol you said something that intrigued me and got my brain C
