The manhwa does a really poor job making you feel how much time actually passed. The attempted kiss was actually at least 6 month after their first meeting.
Yeah i can see that but even then it could show parts where there is actually something happenning between them or top getting conscious around bottom too but no, its all just bottom saying whole lover speeches in his head, when they literally hardly had any real conversation its just so bad lol
I am not far into the novel (I think I've read the third of it) but it is written like Mc's inner monologue/ perspective. I was thinking about this criticism towards Asel as well, but honestly I would eventually misunderstood as well. Perhaps this makes me very naive as well, I know I am to some degree. I think ML really went overboard with kindness, dinner as an apology, getthing Asel a job, paying for his tutor, secretly sending him sweets. Maybe it started innocently from his side, but at the gallery when he has got annoyed because MC called Jae Seok hyung, prooved me he had feelings for him. I don't know, I can be wrong. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
