I agree and Im not sure how ML can be playing the victim and complaining about MC not telling him his feelings while he was engaged to Gisele. That wouldve been super shitty to do to Gisele frankly. He did the right thing keeping his feelings to himself around an engaged guy. ML was the shitty one for being with a woman he didn’t love and leading her on just because hevhad no better options wth.
i dont remember this anymore but from the context clues, im surprised ppl here are hating on mc. while both characters' feelings are valid, i feel more inclined to sympathise for the mc bc (might be biased but idk) of certain circumstances. wouldn't you, too, feel unstable in a relationship that happened after your partner broke off an engagement (there's a wedding that was supposed to happen??? woah), and now after throwing everything away for you, they seem miserable and obviously regretting their choices, wouldn't you also assume they regret being with you? they need to talk without getting emotional. and i will defend the mc on the "running away" part because he stood from a place where all of this wasn't supposed to happen. it was just a one-sided crush and i assume that was him drawing a line. can't blame someone wanting to protect their peace. and when he wanted to move on the ml breaches that line? yeah, he's right to protect his peace bc that alone tells me it's going to be messy. we got an avoidant attachment here basically proving he was right about everything. but that's just me catching up to what ive missed. i may or may not have forgotten some important information
