Would it be crazy if I said Mincheol is one of the only well-written characters in this whole manhwa? The entire manhwa in general is something people would call slop (which is half true), but after reading Haesoo and Mincheol’s backstory, I think it’s crazy that the man who is supposedly the villain in Haesoo’s life is more well-written than she is. Younger Mincheol loved her(haesoo) more than anybody, even Taeha himself. He worked so hard just to get her a phone when they weren’t even married yet. He worked with her in mind, and even when he had so much potential to have a better life if he didn’t stay with her in poverty, he simply didn’t care. But of course, all of that vanished because poverty can change people.
