Missed that tag. Not sure y this had to be a hunter manga. Should've just made her wear a gown, dropped her into historical setting & wrote this story.

It's not just a matter of disliking this manga. This kind of female mc hunter manga is rare. It sets the stage of expectations, & the insulting way the female mc has been written is where I have a problem.
For instance--why so much mystery over her father's death with all those blacked out dialogues esp. if it doesn't lead to her growth. The author has basically used the worst example of a iseless human & replaced the word with female mc hunter & written the story.
Not once has she entered any dungeon or any conflict without some external thing forcing her to. What is the point of her getting that power? N one would think that after her father's death she would ensure that others don't have the same suffering. Why write about a nasty disgusting character like this? Don't use her as a canvas to portray female mcs. Just don't write at all.

The author basically dismisses her grief as nothing. As if only a male hero narrative can lead to a character's sadness & growth. This mmaga author seems to have no understanding of human emotions. She doesn't have to become a hero but it would have been to acknowledge the grief of her father.
The mc is the oldest child & she finally had the opportunity to help her father but for some reason, the author doesn't make the mc want to protect or help her father. Her father's suffering only makes her hate her grandmother. Like any misogynistic manga author, the solution is to make hateful female mc who relations with other females are antagonistic & the male characters indulgent towards her. Even her celestial acts like a love sick food (╬￣皿￣)凸
