I don't think he's cursed. A previous chapter said he was born very pure. I believe his grandma got wind of the plans the elders had for him and tried to save him but got caught. And yes. I agree that they may be taking on curses from rich people and channeling them to ML.
I agree. Based on the author’s other work, I fear this will be a slow burn of suffering.

I imagine IF he is, and it’s not just the elders playing tricks(though I’m guessing either way it’s partly that), what if they were doing some sort of ritual to transfer all the misfortune of those rich people to the ml? Considering that all the “clients” are all top echelon type of people? Just my thoughts
