You’d feel sorry for Cheong-Myeong (Bottom) if you knew what exactly Saheon (Top) does to him before the chase arc…
A bit of info:
Cheong-Myeong has conservative principles. He grew up as the “Baby of the neighborhood”, raised with love and care, doted by everyone, and was showered with affection.
Saheon’s toxicity:
Saheon weaponized Cheong-Myeong’s “love”, and gaslights the poor boy into sexual submission. During sex, Saheon was relentless, kinky, and extremely pushy and perverted. After sex, Saheon would ignore the poor baby, this ultimately leads to intense self-loathing.
Saheon would often coerce Cheong-Myeong by manipulating him. During the act, Saheon would smile, mock, and verbally degrade Cheong-Myeong, Saheon deliberately ignores CM’s pleas, tears, and clear signs of discomfort. After sex, Saheon would just stand up and leave CM disheveled. This makes CM feel USED, and it made him feel DIRTY.
Saheon would often commit intense sexual kinks that are overwhelming for Cheong-Myeong who is an extremely conservative boy. The turning point is when Saheon forced CM to have sex outdoors (semi). This left a lasting psychological trauma on CM. CM couldn’t refuse because Saheon constantly weaponized his feelings, making CM afraid of “disappointing” Saheon and ultimately leaving him.
I don’t why you hate Cheong-Myeong’s “attitude”, but perhaps, this will give you an insight as to why he is the way he is.
oh no that’s so sad wtf yes this actually helps a lot! I wasn’t trying to victim blame but in the manga so far it seems like they made both out to be very perverted types that just haven’t sorted out their feelings and in the novel it seems way more coercive and borderline abusive. Either way in both the manga and the novel I hate the ML his attitude sucks and his personality lacks enough for me not to want him with the MC. I hope the manga takes a different direction …
the novel and story with these two is kind of horrible not gonna lie but I think I remember the art from another story and it was just as equally problematic so I see why LMFAO I know this is kind of mean but the MC pisses me off so bad being this infactuated with someone is really bad too and also the ML is so annoying I love the art but this story is so icky
