Find a target, treat them badly to lower their self esteem and boundaries, guilt trip him to make him more easy to manipulate and chalk everything up to "love"

So, MC was 13 when Griz was 28. He fell in love with a child then proceeded to treat him like shit instead of being honest and supportive. Then he spent 4 years looking for MC only to be a pushy coward who kissed him by force when he finally found him.
Griz was assuming MC is 17 when he kissed and touched MC, not even an adult.
A grown man pushing 30, blamed an isolated, bullied child for being desperate for support. Then he proceeded to assault him when he found him again.
Not to mention, ML's mom knew about everything and still tried to push them together.
This is like Usagi drop where the little girl fell in love with her adoptive father and everyone in the story supported it like it was a normal cute thing.
