Not a novel reader but judging by what a lover Ashley is and the number of kids Ashley has... I think Koi didn't wanted to be with him... That's why he build that villa... To you know... Lock him up...
Ashley was a green flag in earlier days in highschool after koi left him for 10 yrs he became a red flag becoming a obsessive and self destructing person he did not drain pheromones which melted parts of his brain the Brain damage destroyed his emotional side of the brain (he still has some)the villa is just his maniac side he has not imprisoned koi..he has never imprisoned or graped him ..the only reason he is alive because koi is dom omega who controls and drain his pheromones his brain damage is so bad that if koi was not there he would be dead within few years..that's one of the reason y he is cold and distant towards kids that bird scene in chase childhood he thought he did a good job making chase stop crying not knowing it traumatized chase
And also he wanted just 1 child which was Nathaniel and be done with itbut koi wanted 12 so they ended up having 6 koi still asks for a 7 th child but he changes the topic now in dmyic Koi also asks according to koi all his children are angels(he is kinda of delulu)
