After reading the villainess anthology manga, this one is a bit refreshing with the trope. Just to clear things up, this wasn't part of the anthology.
I personally didn't like how FL was paving the way for the ML under the name of making things easy for him. It's like he got all the things handed on a silver platter and all he has to do is take the spoon and eat. Granted, he has trauma, but he is not determined and strong. I guess his character growth is still pending and may or may not be a future arc. What I did like was the investigation scenes with the knights, but that was a crumb.
I can see a misunderstanding arc coming up after chapter 16.
Not recommended for those who prefer headstrong FLs that take the reins and hit back viciously.
