Sad is not even enough to describe how I feel about the ending. I love the story but hate the ending. Jo didn't deserve all that. I put up with it thinking atleast he was gonna end up with Ian but no Ian left for tj. As much as I sympathize with tj, I just never felt that fondness and neither did I see Ian loving him as much, like low-key Ian was stressing the whole time he thought of tj and he even mentioned that just looking at jo's face made him smile and relieved. How could he end up with tj . I can't cry enough about this, it was completely unexpected and totally not what I wanted . I feel like this was totally unfair to jo who was 'loyal' and waited for Ian despite knowing nothing. How did this even happen broooo!!!! I can't bee the only one who felt that jo was the one. This has to be a joke. Even during their breakup , jo wanted to hold onto him, waited, listened and just cried, that broke my heart. This is the first story whose ending I've despised this much. NO HATE to author, the story is perfect, the writing is phenomenal but the ending is not what I wanted and genuinely can't accept.

Omg, same here. I do get that they both had a strong bond. But in the end of the day, Ian just followed along with what TJ wanted. In my mind Jo was always the second main character. That first scene where he takes Ian pictures by accident was almost like “and kids, that’s how I met your dad” kind of thing. You all can tell me that it was obvious since the beginning and I am usually 90% agreeing with the couple the author ends the history with but for this one, sorry I cannot see it. It took us for a ride from the past to the present and then ended with the past. I did cried in the end bc Jo is absolutely precious and he did not deserved to be misled like he was
