Phobias are irrational by definition. She can't control what her triggers are and what keeps her feeling safe.
Because that was a fire that killed her chosen mother and almost her and he’s just her piece of shit cheating husband?
She isn’t sure if he had anything to do with the assassination and isn’t really afraid of him as much as she is upset with him and his actions while being traumatized by the fire in her childhood.
Oh yeah I absolutely agree with the trigger part but what I meant was how conveniently his impact on her health has not been made out to be something so big that she doesn't forgive him in the future. It's the plot armour which will make her forgive him gradually and not loathe him for what he did to her and her child in the past life.
How are you only afraid of the fire and not him when both events have been more or less equally traumatic for you
