I think the first thing is more of a romantic intimacy and vulnerability rather than purity. He seems more interested in the idea that she loves him so much that she wants to have her first experience with him. He also said it was fine if he wasn’t her first. I feel like most ppl want to be each others first (even though it’s unlikely).
Second, that ex is just insecure. He kept insisting about looks even though she told him that’s not the case

First: why do they care about being the first one to have sex when that guy already slept with lots of women, its one thing to care about being their first its another to act like they havent slept with multiple people, why would u care about that stuff if u arent a virgin anymore (unless its a guy who likes the idea of fucking virgins)
Second: that ex was so ass its one thing to get hurt its another to assume that girl is lying just cause the new bf is different
Whats with the obsession of japanese people with sex just because they entered a relationship honestly its so fucked up this is personally my ick when it comes to reading romance in mangas and manhwas as a romance gurly myself
