Let it marinate (details below)

If you’re already feeling bad for Cheong-Myeong doing all the chasing, you’re gonna have to marinate this one.

Saheon is only sexually attracted to Cheong-Myeong.
In the chapters to come, he will weaponize Cheong-Myeong’s feelings for him. He treats CM like a “fucktoy” or a fuck buddy. This will lead to CM feeling USED and DIRTY.

During sex, Saheon is incredibly perverted and kinky. Dirty talks (almost degrading) is one of them.
Cheong-Myeong is a virgin and a conservative, so when he cries during sex, it’s often from FEAR. But Saheon, instead of being careful and acknowledging the fear on CM’s eyes, gets turned on and relentless instead…

This part pissed me off so bad. It made me icky because Saheon pretty much coerced Cheong-Myeong… after sex, he would leave CM to clean himself. This makes CM feel like a prostitute, or a casual fling. The worst part was the… SA… that’s when CM finally broke down… emotional burnout… so he ran away.

The chase arc is super short… but Saheon made up for it throughout the novel. He redeemed himself for 60% of the entire story. After the chase arc, Saheon changed for the better. If he sees a single tear on CM’s eyes, he immediately stops and checks on CM.

Saheon also became anxious throughout their relationship. The guilt of “corrupting” the young boy, using his feelings as leverage for sex, forcing kinks onto him, leaving him to clean up after sex, and the extreme— and I mean EXTREME emotional neglect left a psychological impact on Cheong-Myeong. Because if this, Saheon constantly apologized and pretty changed for the better.

Honestly, i was satisfied with how much “awareness” Saheon had for his trash behavior, and he never stopped apologizing throughout the story.

Thanks, i guess I'll wait for this to be finished before I re-read from the start and hopefully an official translation would be good too!

Yeah. It was sad reading Cheong-Myeong’s internal struggle….

Also I forgot to note; Cheong-Myeong is 11 years younger (20 y/o), and Saheon lusted over this young boy which made me icky. He knew how innocent and naive Cheong-Myeong was. Saheon used it as leverage to gaslight, manipulate, and coerce CM into submission especially during sex.

It was a hard read… Saheon made Cheong-Myeong question himself to the point of almost breaking the boy. Cheong-Myeong became chronically insecure. About himself, his feelings, appearance, sexual experience. He was constantly afraid that Saheon will get rid of him once the jerk loses interest.

So to all future readers, be warned. The psychological turmoil is hurtful and might trigger bad emotions.

This is also extremely SMUT heavy, almost cornographic.

    He’s straight.
    Cheong-Myeong is his gay awakening.

Cheong-Myeong is canonically pretty and handsome.
Saheon started to lust over Cheong-Myeong the moment he laid eyes in him during the airport reunion.

That’s why Saheon has been intentionally baiting Cheong-Myeong during the earlier chapters.

    I hated Saheon too.
At the start he only LUSTED over Cheong-Myeong.
He was straight his entire life, but suddenly, this kid who confessed to him three years ago suddenly appeared all mature and handsome.

But after the chase arc, he did change for the better.
Every single chapter, Saheon never caused a single misunderstanding. He apologized continuously.

    Hopefully this extra detail helps.

The emotional turmoil didn’t really last that long.
In the novel, Cheong-Myeong left at around chapter 38(?). That’s when the chase arc started. And Saheon redeemed himself for the entirety after that incident.
