I had a huge hunch he immediately knew whats up when he was suspicious of the junior of Lieutenant but it's incredible to know that he was on edge because of the fear that he might not take his hand. I don't think he's testing him or anything I think if Lieutenant said no to his offer he'll compromise because he's deeply in love with him. It kind of reminded me of the scene in REUNION manhwa— when the top learned about the bottom being a boy and not a girl and instead of reacting he was just afraid that whatever they have will stop. His fear was not out of what he learn but the consequences. I LIKE THE DIRECTION OF THIS BC THE FURTHER WE GO IN THE STORY, THE MORE THAT I AM CERTAIN THAT GOH HUI JAE ISN'T A TOXIC CHARACTER. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
