Ngl the story ended up a 9/10 for me. I fell for so many characters, and they really flesh them out with stories and personalities of their own. King Consort, you have my heart you poor beautiful neglected man. The side stories showing the past were short and sweet and I would have genuinely read a whole comic of them. I love that many characters had flaws they had to face, and that even her rival from the very beginning ended up still her friend and helping each other. I thought the Queen (Claire) was a surprisingly deep and complicated character, and I dislike so many choices that she made, but honestly who can judge her for wanting freedom and love for once (Ls dad), not to be controlled and keep the family honor all on her own.
