Alexander & Yvette

DARE I SAY THAT Alec and Yvette (Cedric's parents) have a more ROMANTIC, BEAUTIFUL but TRAGIC love story than Ced & Dill.

When they showed Alexander's face for the first time after not giving him any face the whole series, made me CRY SO DAMN MUCH. Mind you, I have never cried for a manhwa before, so this was my first time. He was so gorgeous and kind, and sometimes silly.

It ached my heart to have to see Alec's & Yvette's story. I kept crying after seeing their love story and first meeting unfold, it's so heartbreaking because I already know that he died when Ced was 6 y/o. They're romance was the most beautiful yet tragic love story.

Yvette marries 3 men, first love Alexander, whom she calls Alec and her true love, died young and beautiful... their story reminds me of the songs "Young & Beautiful", & "You Said You'd Grow Old With Me". She gave birth to Cedric, whom greatly resembled his father in terms of personality and a mix of his parent's atittude. Only that Cedric has his mother's physical genetic traits. Like Father like Son. It's genuinely heartbreaking to see how they resemble each other especially with the woman they love.

Her second, unknown but from another country, isn't explicitly stated. She gave birth to Eusebius, who grew up to be a beautifully artistic individual. He resembles his father in a great length when it comes to genetics and appearance, his artistic traits came from his artistic mother. Euse ends up being the narrator in the end, with great poise. I was hoping to see some romance between him and Peony, but it's okay. Viola, Euse, and Cedric are quite cute and very gorgeous siblings. I found Euse and Ethan Raker (Ced's best friend) to be quite adorable regarding to closeness lol the parallel between Ethan and Viola jumping onto Euse is adorable.

Then Yvette's 3rd and last husband, a man whose figure is shown once along with Viola and Yvette smiling happily, a mature and understanding couple they came to be. Lola finally has her mother's genes, and quite possibly her father's personality. The adorable little girl would grow a splitting image of her mother.
