I think what happened was that at first, she really loved the duke to the point she's willing to put everything to lift his curse. But the lack of results and how she's not getting the love back (so piled up stress with no comfort) is making her will of pure love to lift the curse into full on hatred that she isn't loved.
It's like when you are providing money for yur family cuz u love them but seeing how yur life is not improving and they dgaf majority of the time, that providing of money turns hateful and u get tired of it.
