i’ve finished this a few days ago and i really like our mc’s character but i just can't help but think so many things are wasted in the story.
I genuinely do not get mc’s obsession with having a father figure in her life. and how she would ditch her mother to be with her found father. I thoroughly do not understand when her character was explained to not cling to any attachments to ever lasting affection. She loved her mother as someone who contributed to protecting her peace, but that’s it. No matter how many times i think of it, i really could not make perfect sense on her obsession to have a father figure.
And her earlier character was so good when she tried to manipulate chanhee into thinking shes "mot inherently bad" bc her ability has its "good sides". it was intriguing especially when you could feel it in your bones chanhee isn’t that naive to blindly fall for her manipulation, it just overlaps with his belief. He still thought it wasnt right for Her to do what she does. The story i think butchered her characterization as we go further into the ending. It was nice to know she holds no real attachment to her mother, but with the guy? Nope!
This was a nice read though, i wanted to explore more op FMCs and it was just right at the moment. Solid 6/10.
