Don’t get me wrong the ML should not have acted that way and MC is allowed to be upset. But I think MC is more upset that he was lied to. He was ok (in the beginning) to just be with the ML even if the ML didn’t love him back. Like he was ok with just being with him. But the lying was a deal breaker IMO. I do agree with you ML is way too controlling, toxic, and selfish.
