It’s obvious Geonwu refuses to acknowledge anything that would make them closer due to him wanting whatever is in the best interest of JUST Taejun, not himself, or even a third party like a baby. And I think there’s a slight chance Taejun’s pheromones just caused a miscarriage? It seems his pheromones were meant to imitate anger, which might not be good for Geonwu’s or a barley stable pregnancy.
Geowu needs a love confession before the wedding proposal. Right now he feels like an obligation not a prize.
In my opinion geonwu didn't tell the truth because he knows taejun and he wants best for taejun but at the same time I am happy he didn't because of taejun personality, taejun will keep geonwu under him and he will definitely take responsibility, enjoy the life and sex with geonwu but the love would be missing he will never acknowledged that he like geonwu and that he wants to be with him that's why he married but he will give it as if he has done some kind of favor for geonwu which is not good （￣へ￣）
