This story has brought me on such a rollercoaster of emotions that im scrambling to gather my thoughts in proper form but alas here i am to give my proper review (beware some spoilers ahead)
First things first, the plot is exceptional. Im not sure but ive yet to read a story with this kind of time leap plot. And honestly the first 40 chapters were so stressful for me because i for one is #1 Hina protector. I love her so much, shes so well written and ugh my praises for her will be overloaded if i begin to type it here. She did so well in managing herself at such an unknown time with no proper guidance, such a courageous and brave girl. I know for one that i would not survive and would have fallen into despair. Her struggles and pain and helplessness are so well written that it just pulls at me heart when I see her suffering sigh..
Anyway I digress, in the beginning I was so scared that the plot would be something like Taketora and Hina had to use the same device to go back to the future and since you can only use it once, Hina gets left behind or something and then the necklace is somehow passed down to the current future Hina (yes theres a lot of loopholes in my hypothesis but dont mind it) im still having trauma flashbacks to Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo iykwim… (watch it if you havent). But im so glad im not the author cause this was way better and im really happy with how taketora and hinako’s relationship turned out. I thank everyone in the cast for helping my girl Hina safely home and back <3 and Kiku.. sigh not to be rude but Hina could at least give him a peck on the cheek lmao sorry not sorry.
Only gripe I have with this story is there are plenty of mysteries left behind like the time flow, what happens after hina comes back, and etc but well you cant close everything since this is a time leap story which is bound to have a lot of technicalities that is hard to address. Otherwise I love everything about it. Taa-kun reminds me of Mr Darcy from Pride and Prejudice the way he yearns and what do we say to men who yearns? THEY EARN! Periodt. Lmao thats all
Anyway yeah thanks for reading this if you did im just so happy to stumble upon this masterpiece that has been sitting in my to read list for so long and im glad i finally decided to read it when it has completed otherwise i would have plucked out all of my hair from frustration and stress.
