also, to ppl who said that her evil actions was bc that's how the author wrote her, well, im glad that u got the point. at the end of the day, she was written as a villain with tragic story. that's it. it's the author's power as the author of the story and there's nothing we, as readers, can do abt it. unless u make ur own au of this story, then u can change how the story happens. but just know that ur au isn't the canon one TvT

and lastly, to the ppl who said ppl only hate rashta bc thats what most ppl commented and not soveishu, the one who caused all shits bc his sperm are so weak, ur actually wrong. ppl are mad at and despise the emperor too but the viral subject is abt the mistress bc her situation is complicated debatable and hating the emperor is already a default (he's truly despicable). there's no need to repeat and comment such an obvious thing.
there's also this discussion where a lot was mad bc soveishu suffered less than rashta even tho he was the cause of it all. but realistically, he's the emperor and rashta’s a commoner, so what can others do? as frustrating as it is, that's the only logical, convincing outcome.
and to ppl who might say im saying this bc im team navier. no im not. im not on anyone's side. i read this on general view, understanding each side and acknowledging and holding them accountability for what they've done (but i did hate on soveishu bc who doesnt lol).
u might say, that im saying this but see the story in navier's pov since she's the mc, ur wrong lol. even if rashta's the mc, i still wouldn't support her bc of everything she did. if she's the mc, ill see her detailed tragic past which is angst and might make me weep, but I'll also see how she's evil to innocent ppl and how she's constantly provoking the supposed villainess (navier) in her story who's just at the side and the legal wife of the emperor. i might even curse her for being a dumb mc who's provoking navier instead of teaming up with her and take down soveishu. i might even compare her to other mcs who has the same situation as her but was good unlike her.
tho, if rashta’s the mc and navier the villainess, then rashta's personality would be good while navier's be bad. bc that's how they'll be written. one, a protagonist. one, a villain. we cant change it if thats the author's intention (unless it's anti hero story TvT).

look, i fully agree rashta’s past was tragic. she was a traumatized, assaulted, uneducated slave who was used and thrown away, while navier had ultimate privilege, even ruled an empire as the empress. but understanding her trauma doesn’t mean we gotta ignore her being evil. she wasn't just trying to survive as ppl claimed, she actively chose to bully, manipulate, and torture innocent people once she got power. her traumatic past explains why she broke, but it doesn't excuse the cruelty she inflicted on others presently. she was a victim of her abusers AND she's the abuser of her victims. she’s traumatized AND a villain.
it's like a kid who grew up in abusive home so he's all black and blue. but then that same kid, picking up his parent's abusive habits, starts beating up younger kids on the playground and starts stealing lunch money. be honest, would u still defend the older kid? excuse him bc u found out he has abusive bg? u can understand and feel heartbroken for why he became aggressive, but he was still being aggressive and u still have to protect the kids he's currently hurting. being a victim yesterday doesn't give you a free pass to be a bully today.
