I think the translation mistook his thought bubbles for speech bubbles. In his head he was saying that he loved her etc. The only thing he said outloud to her was that he didnt want to find his mate
So in a way this is the basic misunderstanding if he didnt say it.

Wait the ML did confess right? Or is there a mis translation ? Bc truly I dont get the MC reaction to what he said. The only reason that could makes sense is that he actually didnt say who was the person he loves (so a mis translation in the chapter?) and so Obviously she would feel terrible bc she things there is no way its her. But here. In the chapter he says its you Tianna the women I love. So girl isnt it convenient? Why crying ? Make it make sense.
