I wouldn’t even mind if it’s like a true psychological horror, as in you’re not meant to root for the relationship at all and you’re MEANT to be disgusted by it. I can’t help but feel like it’s meant to be shoved down ur throat as sexy or romantic in this case. There’s so much nowadays with the latter that’s popular. Sometimes you’ll be reading a cute fluffy story and suddenly the ml is assaulting the mc and it’s framed as NORMAL? And the comments don’t even mention it either? Makes me feel like I’m going mad.
