i hate when adaptations change the original novel but the changes don’t benefit the story at all like what ?? why would they do that

No, also after when MC jumps off the cliff, ML literally desperately searches for him through the snow while MC barely manages to survive. They eventually find each other unexpectedly in the middle of the snow, which actually makes their reunion feel emotional and meaningful. But in the manhwa, they just have MC casually walk toward the cave they're staying in, while ML is already there doing absolutely nothing to search for him. Like why did they remove the entire point of that scene in the manhwa? It completely kills the tension and makes ML look way less concerned about MC. The original novel handled that moment so much better.
Also, the last chapter where MC went to the tavern, he was wearing a hooded robe and the tavern guy was supposed to pull it to see his face.
Another change was, Kailus, the prince was supposed to be trailing him but was still far away from MC so when MC fought the snow wolves, the prince was a bit suprised. I seriously don't get why the manhwa would change these scenes...they aren't that complicated to envision at all imo...
I read some of the novel after last chapter bc j was impatient and this chapter has such an odd inconsequential change from the novel it really took me off guard (￣∇￣")
In the novel MC does NOT bring a rope with him and he actively endangers himself dangling face first off the side of the cliff to just barely get a hold of the fruit with some difficulty which is why he's easy for the ML to sneak up on like that
I have no idea why the artist would change this just to have the panel with him on the ropes which looks really awkward and they kinda drew attention to the fact they changed it with that 'safety first' bit ????
