It was implied by chapter 3 or 4, don't remember, that they grey omega was sick bc pheromone failue, some people just refuse to put two and two together and wait for the story to tell them everything
yes!! I don't remember the details, but the doctor did say he needed new suppressants and a real cure would be costly
(I obviously could be wrong, and maybe he's having a stable day for another reason, maybe he met "his alpha", but point is – he was grey because he's sick)

are you guys dumb? he was grey because of some pheromones failure (due to marking I think), now he's probably regaining color thanks to expensive treatments (which the uke is paying for)
