It was implied by chapter 3 or 4, don't remember, that they grey omega was sick bc pheromone failue, some people just refuse to put two and two together and wait for the story to tell them everything

are you guys dumb? he was grey because of some pheromones failure (due to marking I think), now he's probably regaining color thanks to expensive treatments (which the uke is paying for)
