Is this gonna be a thing where he approached Jin from the start, knowing he was a cop? I can imagine that he misunderstood their first encounter and commited to falling into this percieved honey trap, to keep the cop away from the actual crime business. But we also don't know shit about Hui-Jae, so he could be keeping homeboy close on purpose (at first anyway). Maybe it's got something to do with the foundation business and the disappearance of Jin's coworker.
