Ngl I can't even admire the pretty sets & costumes knowing I'm about to watch a show where slavery was normal and no one does anything about it like not even the Emperor who brought a child slave to marry.
I remember the "trashta" insults and I absolutely hate cheaters so back then I subconsciously joined even when I fully didn't read the manhwa. But now ur telling me that Rashta is actually uneducated, illiterate, young & impressionable and somehow she was a threat to Navier who was born noble & rich? The power imbalance in this manhwa is actually crazy coz the writer already set her up to fail. Spoilersss also Sovieshu somehow getting a good end compared to Rashta ending her life like wow as if that asshole didn't start all of this.
The problem is that the Author just isn't a good one for them to be writing about these issues. There's a potential there to have so many nuances yet somehow Rashta is portrayed as a villain & gets more hate than the war criminals & pedophiles here.
