I don't see Yuiji falling for Yoshi any time soon... He's just not interested in romance and he does likes him as a friend. He's that type of person that cares and goes miles for those who are close to him but loving him as a romantic interest? I don't think so. Maybe because he's never thought about that possiblity. Maybeee if Yoshi confess, Yuiji will be forced to think about them as something more than friends. But on his own, Yuiji won't do it. Maybe when they're adults? I feel like they will be a couple in the future but not in highschool.
Still, I don't want to see Yoshi falling into desperation and anxiety only because his world is small right now. When in college, he will discover many new things and move on from those that were scary. Even his crush on Yuiji will be something from the past too. He needs friends. And losing Yuiji as a friend is not something he wants to risk.
I read this when it was published. I suffered the hiatus and I was overjoyed when it was announced that it will return... For it to stop again. I tried reading this author other project, Nomi x Siba, but it didn't resonate with me and has an adult and high schooler relationship that icks me. It's more popular it seems but I hope at least this story comebacks and don't get dropped...
