as if it’s not a known fact that gay men are more misogynistic towards women than women being “mean” to gay guys ( they’re still guys after all) . Like duh ofc mean people are everywhere, but og comment is pointing out how these authors are always making a woman the villain in a BL story and it’s always because of the STRAIGHT male lead as well…connect the dots

As woman (queer), there’s really a different context. In Japan most are conservative and homophobic, it’s not surprising to see it be expressed from a girl as it’s really common. ppl just think women are incapable of being bad people. I’ve experienced lots of homophobia from other women (typically straight) so it’s realistic in many aspects. It’s really only an issue when all female characters are written this way which in this story it’s only been one, it’s not being a villain just an antagonist.
Sure, call it misogynistic if you want, i'm the one who had to deal with a whole lot of homophobic women acting like that not you :p
