unfortunately but realistically id say the visuals, the fact that jaeyi is attractive, ideum is adorable, its clear the artist loves jaeyi with how much attention to detail is given to him with his fashion sense and the rest is basically a bonus this is probably a one season story its also clear cut through but this what I think
I have mindless reads I enjoy. I’m not overanalyzing. It’s that my friends reading it tell me it has immense depth and attention to detaill, so I reread to grasp what they are telling me. But thanks for the downvote. I’m just expressing my thoughts!
Thank you for your perspective on it! I’ve seen some other people saying the art really draws them in and they can love to read works where they can tell the artist loves their characters. Appreciate that insight
I didn’t think I was gonna like it originally, but I’ve found myself enjoying it. I don’t love it, per se, nor can I say is one of my top 10s, but I do think there is some originality in it. Yes, they have a lot of sex, but that’s the main reason they are even together. IMO, the originality comes from their interactions outside of sex. Jaeyi comes off as your typical top; handsome, cool, calm, collected and emotionally constipated, but he’s surprisingly intuitive, his emotional intelligence is pretty high. Ideum on the other hand looks like your typical wide-eyed virgin, but he’s actually pretty sure about his sexuality. He’s actually enjoying the sex. Overall, the plot might be a bit generic, but I think the characters stand out enough to make the story shine.
This is very popular and I just don’t get why (NOTE: this is not an insult to people who enjoy it, everyone has preferences, it’s just my opinion). I’ve reread it a couple of times to try and see what makes it hit for people and I seem to just not get it. It feels very generic, all they do is have sex, and both characters are similar to others in this genre. I don’t think it’s life-changing and I’m a bit confused where the global popularity came from.
I kind of hope we will get more character focused plot directions coming up soon, as right now it just feels like MC is going to become hyper independent to the ML and have no personality to just be hurt later. I really liked the chapter showing MC’s inner depressive state due to the way he was raised and also the snippets of him being sick as a child… I personally want more of that as the characters deserve those explorations (and I’ll be very content if we see that in the future!!!!), but every chapter is a cliff hanger for more sex only lol. So it leaves you a bit disappointed.
I don’t know if anyone feels the same way. I’d be interested to know what people love about this manhwa and what aspects of it make you excited for the chapters every week. Maybe it’ll help me see it in a different light!
