The ML is s cosmic being we dont know what exactly but he holds a great amount of God like power he was bored ig and was just posing as a highschooler where he first meets mc and sees that she sees his true self and at first he's amused by that almost like she's some kind of toy and put her through different scenarios for his amusement but once she commits suicide he realizes that he "loves" her and looks into countless branches on timeliness but sees that it doesn't work out for them in any expect the one where she losses her memory so he crafts a world only for her essentially everything in the world she's currently in is made by ml his "driver" is probably another entity serving him
