Finished this story in a day

This story had been on my list for a long time before I finally decided to read it. I knew I had to prepare myself for a story like this. I'm a big fan of slow burns, but when it comes to angst, I know it usually involves heavy drama, which is why I often avoid stories like this. But this story made sure that not a single chapter felt wasted once you invested yourself in reading it.

I love how cinematic and melancholic this story is. It was so beautifully written and drawn that I had to finish the entire thing within 24 hours before I became too attached to the characters. Thankfully, they all got the endings they deserved, especially Hakyum and Yoonsung, who went through so much suffering on their own.

On that note, I'd also like to express my sentiments on how every side character affected our dear main characters. First, I'd like to thank the chairperson for being the cupid and the bridge between Hakyum and Yoonsung. Now we know where Yoonsung got his attitude from, in a world of his father and older brother oppressions. I'll never let it slide how those two vile Jangs put all the blame on Hakyum when, in fact, they were the ones who started everything. They should have been held more accountable for their own actions, especially since their choices were what left Hakyum carrying that guilt for so many years.

I guess that's all for my thoughts. I just love how endearing this story was that I didn't even mind the smut. Even if there were intimate scenes, I honestly wouldn't consider them just "smut" but rather a passionate expression of love between Hakyum and Yoonsung.
