Ffs, I know most people love him, and I know the story wants us to find all of this cute, but I genuinely don’t understand it. A player ML is still a player. His body count would be literally 100-300+ cause from the author notes he clearly dont have relationship in the past and been alive for 200 years .And ofcourse he is a yokai.Just because we aren’t shown him with other people doesn’t magically mean he isn’t one. He literally acts like a player, and I still don’t understand why the author had to make the ML like this again when the MC clearly isn’t someone who wants that kind of relationship.

And people calling his behavior cute or a “green flag” is even more confusing. He was bothering MC from the start, constantly pushing his boundaries and basically treating him like something he could use whenever he wanted. If the genders were reversed, people would probably be calling this sexual harassment instead of laughing it off as flirting or comedy. Constantly bothering someone to the point of unwanted sexual behavior is not a small thing just because the story frames it as funny.

And then there’s the whole thing with the sister, which pisses me off even more. If my sibling got taken by some so-called friend who had sexually assaulted me, I’d be hella pissed and terrified, not suddenly trusting that person. I genuinely don’t understand how MC became so trusting of him after everything. Like, I’d still be ready to beat the fox for taking my sibling . The story can keep trying to make it look cute, but I’m not going to pretend that ignoring someone’s boundaries and then trusting the same person who hurt you is automatically romantic or a green flag

Fictional or not, that doesn’t suddenly make the behavior cute. He literally kissed him without consent, forced himself on him, and has basically been stalking him from the start. People can call it funny or romantic because it’s fiction, but I personally don’t find any of that cute. If someone repeatedly ignores another person’s boundaries, follows them around, and forces physical affection on them, that’s still disturbing behavior regardless of how the story tries to frame it.
