a psychological romance where MC is a prostitute that got kidnapped by ML because his target is MC's client. surprisingly, ML doesn't kill MC (for some reason). one thing led to another, and now they're happily living away from the world (somewhere in hongkong) ( ꈍ◡ꈍ )
idek how to express my thoughts because that was a long and eventful ride,, i still can't believe it ended already i'll miss them fosho! i'm just so glad they finally got the freedom they deserved—filled with love and peace. (T_T)
i truly admire evy-nim's writing and way of creating their story's structure all of these characters are morally gray, some are even considered cruel & evil. but as a reader, they gave us an angle where we can feel a sense of understanding and empathy for the characters' actions & decisions throughout the story
the ending also felt very satisfying like a full circle moment seeing them take down every single one of those predators felt exhilarating (⁎˃ᴗ˂⁎) lowkey felt bad for heeseong because she was also just a victim of her very gruesome circumstances :'(( i'm interested on the future of her baby though...
comments said that evy-nim will deliver some side stories which i'm quite seated for (⸝⸝ᵕᴗᵕ⸝⸝) i'm so excited to see MC & ML's domestic & wholesome life in hong kong also, can we have an ABO au side story? i just wanna see ML have a family with MC (◞‸◟♡)
as someone who followed this story since its release, i am satisfied and happy with how it turned out i wish more BL authors show queer romance under the lens of psychological thrillers (executed & portrayed accurately) lastly, let's also recognize evy-nim's art style because WOW the growth is insane
