Honestly I can kinda sympathize with Riftan this time (only this time). My husband made a decision on his own that took him away from me for years even though I was ready to put everything on the line so that we can stay together. We're still apart right now. I understand his decision because he had circumstances, but to this day I'm still so angry and trying my best not to despair. I wish he had chose to risk it all with me rather than take the safe route that would separate us. Maxi is dead wrong for going behind his back.
