The concept was very intriguing. I love this type of fucked up psychological shit. It was clear that the ml has severe psychological issues. And how "Father" was introduced in the beginning and cult type vibe. The beginning was very engaging and interesting.

BUT then it just felt short and became a hot mess. I think if the author had just cut 20% of the smut and put that into the building of the ml's back story and his relationship with "Father" then it would have been a 10/10 for me. I wanted to see more of Father. And his side of the story or what was going through his head. That obsession wasn't portrayed very well. His motivation wasn't properly portrayed. I think ml's psychological problems were also glossed over by his hypersexuality. So the climax didn't hit it for me.

I think "the Broken Boy" did a phenomenal job with the psychological aspect of the story with both the leads and villain. I loathed the villain but still I was intrigued by him. I absolutely loved it. That's where it story fell short for me. I didn't feel anything for the villain and at some point for both the leads.
