Damn, I’m already halfway through reading this, and my heart hurts for Doha. I don’t even want to finish it; I just ended up taking a peek at the ending. He deserves better. I wish he could find his own happiness.
I was hooked on reading this, but tbh, I started to resent the FL the more she led both the ML and Doha on. Knowing that she would die after three months but still building a relationship with the ML is cruel. Sure, I get her thought process of wanting to be with a handsome guy before dying, but damn, she took an insecure and isolated man and made him feel so loved, knowing that she would eventually leave him. I hated how she didn’t think about the aftermath. The second lead really broke my heart. I wish he could find his own person. He may not be the most moral person, but isn’t he the same as the ML? The only difference is that the FL chose the ML, and he got his salvation and serendipity (the FL).
I’m not going to argue that it isn’t the FL’s fault that Doha fell for her, but come on, how dense can you be? Sure, maybe it’s because the FL grew up without ever having anyone truly love her or be on her side, but seriously, she should have planned things a bit better.
