At first i was pissed off why Yoshitaka never confessed his feelings first, but after reading his backstory, it kinda makes sense. The one with barriers up their heart was Yoshitaka, and not Soma and Soma had to be the one to break it down first and reach to him. He loves Soma but he could never confirm Soma's feelings towards him because he basically shut himself off. Kinda immature but it's like a self-defense. He never came out as *that Yoshitaka to Soma in fear that he might also put him up on a pedestal and treat him as special like all the others. He's gonna hurt Soma eventually, the miscommunication and such as he never came off clean(too distrusting) and always left Soma wandering about him by himself. He came into Soma's life, messed him up and left him clueless basically, all due to his backstory, is it justified? No, but is it understandable?Yes. And oh he was too tactless with his choice of words!! But all in all, i really enjoyed reading it, the artstyle is gorgeous *chef's kiss, and the plot is generic but eyy, it's not bad just cus it is one. Funfact, I was drolling over the panels with Yoshitaka cus he is that damn gorgeous babyyy
