I actually like the art a lot and conceptually this could have been good. My issue is that the dom talks about all this research he did for SEVEN years and decides to go back to Japan, use commands without consent, and never ever mentions setting a safe word. I also felt like the drama was forced. It is super obvious that the dom was worried about sub drop deaths because he loved the sub. And how do we go from the sub being able to refuse a command but then accepting the commands of that random faceless guy? It just felt so forced and cliche. The set up was perfect for an actual deep dive on dynamics and how they would’ve been treated early on before they became more normalized. The dom barely even goes into how dangerous sub drop is. Drives me nuts lmao
