I felt like it was an abrupt end But good thing there’s side stories. Everyone will have thrown a fit if it just ended there.
First things first, though belated, a resounding round of applause to the author and the team for bringing this story to life.
Now, for the review of whatever you like to call it. I love the story’s pacing. That’s one of the things I noticed why I am drawn to continue reading it. It doesn’t feel forced and it doesn’t need a lot of smuts just to keep it engaging. I’d love to know more about Jay’s backstory though. I have guessed somewhat how the story will end or how it will come together. There were hints throughout the story. But it still delivered that excitement and engagement needed for all to wrap up. Some may find the climax anticlimactic, but to me, it was really just right. It felt like all the pieces needed were clicked into place. And oooh! Let me just gush about that Board of Directors meeting scenes! I love a legal battle type of sh*t. I just knew Yoon Jay is gonna tick my head with the right amount of dopamine. There were some pieces I think that needed to be addressed or revealed but I guess they were not that important or will probably be revealed in the side stories.
Anyway, I will probably be in the “Re-reading group” after the side stories. This story is one of the best. Cheers to all.
