I think this:
The world is a video game so it's repeating again in a loop forever
The assassin group is a true trio of unrequited love Sigra loves Reevo, Reevo loves Ame and Ame loves Sigra
Sigra has seen Ame let himself be killed because he can't kill Sigra because he loves him, even though Sigra was willing to let himself be killed so Reevo wouldn't lose Ame.
After Ame killed himself Evelogia made Sigra kill all the villagers
Sigra didn't want to keep repeating this forever so he willingly let his existence be erased so there would be a change in the world
